Hello again...
I'm feeling so accomplished right now as I watch the season finale of Pretty Little Liars (AKA, total guilty pleasure).
In my school, we use a program called SRA Imagine It! and this year I've decided to make some resources to go along with it.
First, word wall cards!
This is just a sample of the Unit 2 vocabulary word cards that are available at Teacher's Notebook and TeachersPayTeachers. I also have the Unit 1 cards up as well.
Also, I am creating study guides similar to my Comprehension Tri-folds for each of the weekly stories. So far, all I have done is Unit 1, but I will be making Units 2-6 as well. You can find the Study Guides on TeachersPayTeachers here. I unfortunately am still trying to figure out why TeachersPayTeachers won't let me get pictures of the products up anymore. (Anyone having this problem as well?)
The stories in the Unit 1 Study Guides file are Because of You, For the Love of Our Earth, The Elves and the Shoemaker, The Mouse and the Lion, and Corduroy. If you would like any of those study guides alone, please contact me and I'll make it possible to do so ASAP.
Till next time :-)
This blog's purpose is to help other teachers. I will explore some of my own ideas, as well as some other AWESOME ideas that I found helpful in my teaching and classroom.

Manipulative Task Cards and a Sale!
Hello all!
Just a quick update here. I have been been in training but made several files to share. All of the tri-folds that I planned on making are up on Teachers Pay Teachers. I believe there are 13 files including Teach Us, Amelia Bedelia and Henry and Mudge in the Sparkle Days.
Also, I finally created the task cards that I had talked about wanting to do with BUILD. After researching many that were either too low or too high or with manipulatives that I didn't have to begin with... I went ahead and created my own set. There are a total of 68 cards in the file (17 pages). I may do another set sometime during the school year or even break apart the sets into categories (i.e. money, patterns, etc.) if anyone is interested... let me know.
You can buy this file and my others at TeachersPayTeachers and Teacher's Notebook.
Also... ALERT, ALERT, ALERT!!!
I am having a 15% off sale at both TeachersPayTeacher and Teacher's Notebook from Saturday 7/21 through Tuesday 7/24 in honor of me going back to school (at least to unpack and bring in all my numerous boxes of teacher stuff). Enjoy and buy :-)

Comprehension Tri-folds
Hello again!
I hope all the teachers out there are enjoying there summer by now. I definitely am with all I have going on, and yet, I still have been working on stuff for next year.
I have made comprehension Tri-folds for some books that I happen to have several copies of. This way I can use this during centers next year.
I must say I got this idea from another blogger that I saw through Pinterest (LOVE) but the books she used in hers weren't ones I would utilize so I altered her idea a bit to test the strategies I wanted.
You can find all of my Tri-folds on my TPT (haven't figured out how to do PDFs on TN yet). I hope you all check them out :-)
Current Tri-folds on TPT:
Make Way for Tooth Decay
The Magic School Bus Fights Germs
The Magic School Bus and the Missing Tooth
The Magic School Bus Gets Eaten
The Magic School Bus Set
Bruce, Phil, and Adonna Head For the Mountains
